Learner Agreement

Our goal is to provide practical, professional, and conversational American English practice in a respectful, supportive, and engaging environment.

Scheduling and Payment

Step 1: Schedule your appointment through Calendly .

Step 2: After scheduling, please submit payment using PayPal link.

Your appointment will be confirmed once payment has been received. Upon successful scheduling and payment, the learner agrees to the following terms and guidelines:

Attendance and Punctuality

Learners are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled sessions. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Sessions and pricing are not adjusted, extended, or rescheduled due to late arrivals. If a learner joins late, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Learners may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are non-refundable.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be issued for missed appointments.

Professional Conduct

The English Exchange is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional learning environment. The following behavior will not be tolerated:

• Harassment
• Threatening behavior
• Discrimination
• Abusive or disrespectful conduct
• Disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning experience

The English Exchange reserves the right to immediately terminate a session or discontinue future services if inappropriate conduct occurs. No refund will be provided for any session terminated due to inappropriate conduct.

Privacy

Personal information collected through scheduling forms, assessments, email communications, or other business-related interactions will be used solely for:

• Scheduling
• Communication
• Session preparation
• Delivery of services

The English Exchange does not sell, share, or distribute personal information to third parties except when required by law. Sessions are not recorded by default. Learners may not record sessions without the prior consent of The English Exchange.

Results Disclaimer

The English Exchange provides conversational English practice, communication coaching, and real-world speaking opportunities. Language improvement varies from learner to learner and depends on factors including:

• Individual effort
• Attendance
• Participation
• Practice outside of scheduled sessions
• Prior language experience
• Willingness to apply feedback and recommendations

Successful language development is a collaborative process. While The English Exchange is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment, learners share equal responsibility for their own progress through consistent participation and independent practice. Specific outcomes, proficiency improvements, employment opportunities, academic results, or other outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Agreement

By scheduling a session through Calendly and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Learner Agreement.
